In case you were wondering why there haven't been many new articles appearing here for the last month or so I should explain that we've been very busy behind the scenes here at Avatar preparing our very first print version of the on-line zine.

The Avatar is now available as a hardcopy, featuring the best stuff from the last six months plus some exclusive content written especially for the issue.

Copies will be available at all of our meetings for £1, plus I'll be trying to flog them to people down at Eastercon this weekend.

We'll also be releasing a 'softcopy' PDF version in May which will be free.

I'd like to thank everyone who contributed work to Avatar since we launched in September and I hope you will keep it up for Issue 2, which will hopefully be coming out in October 2010.
